PEAK Resources Achieves IBM Storage Specialty
Denver based company one of only twelve IBM partners initially accepted into program.
Denver, CO., October 4, 2011 – PEAK Resources, Inc., a Denver based systems integrator that solves business challenges with technology solutions is pleased to announce its acceptance in IBM’s Storage Specialty program. PEAK Resources is one of only twelve IBM business partners in North America to receive the IBM specialty designation for storage.
IBM specialty programs allow PEAK access to additional resources not available to other partners. These include IBM’s loaner pool for sales demonstrations, in-house education and training, as well as priority access to IBM Global Technology Services support and IBM Techline.
“Obtaining this certification allows PEAK to offer our clients extended support in helping them to continue to develop solutions designed to help them meet their current and future business needs,” said Vince DeRose, president of PEAK Resources. “The specialization also provides greater access to technologies within our Denver-based Technology Center, where customers can come and actually see and test everything we sell.”
The PEAK Technology Center (PTC) houses a wide range of IBM technologies available to clients to showcase innovative solutions for their business needs. The center is available for high-level discussions, in-depth technical overviews and demonstrations, or proof of concept evaluations. PTC hardware includes the only demonstrable IBM V7000 mid-range disk system located in Colorado which has seen unprecedented success with more than 4,500 systems installed, housing more than 10 petabytes of stored data.
