PEAK Wins 2008 IBM Beacon Award
PEAK Resources, Inc. announced as recipient of prestigious IBM BEACON award
Denver, CO, April 30, 2008 – PEAK Resources Inc., (PEAK) a leading systems integrator, announced that IBM has once again recognized PEAK with the prestigious BEACON award. The 2008 IBM Beacon award winners were announced today during the annual IBM Business Partner Leadership conference held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA. PEAK was a winner in the category of “Leadership in BladeCenter Solution Deployment”. PEAK was also announced as a finalist in the category of “Outstanding Virtualization Systems Solution”.
This is the third BEACON award that PEAK has received. Vince DeRose, President of PEAK Resources, states, “I’m pleased to see that IBM has recognized the value that PEAK provides to our customers. As part of the BEACON submission process, clients write references to IBM about their solution, how it benefited their company, and their opinion of working with their business partner. IBM then takes hundreds of submissions from around the country, and chooses one winner in each category.
The category “Leadership in BladeCenter Solution Deployment” recognizes business partners who successfully worked with their clients to implement an IBM based BladeCenter infrastructure to meet the computing demands of their organization. The category “Outstanding Virtualization System Solution” recognizes business partners who were instrumental in helping their clients achieve success by designing and implementing virtualization technology which resulted in a more efficient and consolidated infrastructure.
