PEAK Resources Announces Craig Stone as Vice President of Sales

COPPELL, TEXAS, February 14, 2006 - PEAK Resources Inc. (PEAK), a nationally recognized IBM Business Partner and systems integrator, today announced the appointment of Craig Stone as Vice President of Sales for its Coppell, Texas Regional Sales Office. In his new role, Stone will be responsible for business development, managing the sales and technical team as well as developing strong client relationships with customers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Stone left IBM after 24 years for the opportunity to open and manage his own sales office. His career with IBM started when he graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1982 as a systems engineer on the Conoco account. After 7 years as a systems engineer, he was promoted to IBM staff, and then became an IBM Manager in Jackson, Mississippi. Stone was offered more responsibility with IBM as he managed large financial institutions and state and local government clients.  In 1995, Stone moved back to Tulsa where he became the IBM Client Executive for American Airlines and Sabre.  Five years later, IBM promoted Stone to Cluster Unit Executive for Distribution Sector clients in Dallas, where he later became an IBM Director managing clients worth $352M in revenue to IBM. Stone received numerous IBM awards during his career with IBM including IBM Leadership Awards and prestigious IBM Golden Circle awards.

Since the company’s inception in 1991, PEAK has grown to be the second-largest Denver-area computer retailer with 47 employees and $57 million in annual revenue.  PEAK has clients throughout the country and has opened a regional office in Coppell, Texas to better serve the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. PEAK created Stone’s position due to its consistent double-digit growth and its desire to better serve the Dallas/Ft.Worth area.
