    Vince DeRose

    President and CEO

    Vince DeRose is the President and CEO of PEAK Resources, Inc. He is responsible for defining and implementing the company’s vision and strategy and has ultimate responsibility for PEAK’s profitability and growth.

    He provides support for all of PEAK’s individual operating units including consulting, professional services, sales and operations/administration. Vince was one of the original founders of PEAK in 1991 and has been President since 1996.

    Thomas D. Brinegar

    Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

    Tom Brinegar is the Chief Financial Officer for PEAK Resources, Inc. and is responsible for management of all financial, administrative, and operational functions at PEAK.

    Tom has been employed and a part-owner of PEAK since January 1, 1994. Prior to that time, he was employed at Capital Associates International in Boulder and Lakewood, CO holding a variety of positions including public and private equity syndications, fund management, and contracts. He was employed at Capital Associates International from October 1987 to December 1993.

    While attending the University of Colorado, Boulder Tom received a Bachelor in Science in Finance. He is a native of Colorado and graduated high school from Grand Junction High School.

    Tom is an alumnus of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation programs including Leadership Denver, Colorado Experience and Access Denver. Additionally, Mr. Brinegar is the Board Chair of Metro Volunteers, is a Board Member of PEBC, is a Board Member of the Colorado Nonprofit Loan Fund, is a member of the Advisory Board for Colorado Succeeds, is a member of the Pickens Technical College Electronics Advisory Committee, and enjoys his time as a mentor in the Denver Urban Scholars program.

    Paul R. Watson

    Vice President and Chief Technical Officer

    Paul Watson is the Chief Technical Officer for PEAK Resources, Inc. and is responsible for selecting and representing all of the technology brands that PEAK represents to our clients.

    Mr. Watson has been employed with PEAK since 2003 and has been a part-owner since 2013. Prior to that time, he was employed at IBM, CO as an open systems enterprise architect.  He was employed at IBM from 2001 to June 2003.

    Mr. Watson attended the University of Chester, England where he achieved a HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is a native of Manchester, England but emigrated to the USA in 1999 directly to Colorado. Paul currently holds his ‘Systems Architect & Practitioner’ qualification from the ‘The Open Group - TOGAF’ in addition to multiple OEM specific certifications and designations.

    Paul participates in a variety of non-profit organizations and additionally coaches U8’s Soccer and baseball. Paul enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and motorcycling in the Colorado high country.

    John G. Simonton

    Vice President, Corporate Alliances

    John Simonton is the Vice President, Corporate Alliances for PEAK Resources, Inc. and is responsible for the overall management of all vendor relationships for the company.

    John has been employed with PEAK since 1994 and has been a part-owner since 2000.  Prior to that time, he was employed with the Marasco Newton Group in Washington, D.C.   During his tenure at PEAK, he has held a variety of positions with increasing responsibilities in the areas of Operations, Facilities, Internal IT, Software Practice Management, and Professional Services.

    While attending Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA John received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He was raised in Colorado where he attended Cherry Creek High School and graduated from D.S. Freeman High School in Richmond, VA.

    John currently holds his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in addition to various manufacturer designations.   He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Haiti Partners, an organization focused on improving education throughout this Caribbean country.  He has also recently joined the Winter Park/Mary Jane Volunteer Ski Patrol.   In the past, he has held various lay leadership positions at Wellshire Presbyterian Church in metro Denver.   He has also held various board positions for his college alumni and neighborhood HOA boards.

    Chris DeAcutis

    Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Development

    Chris DeAcutis is the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development, of PEAK Resources, Inc. and is responsible for corporate branding and direction, ensuring PEAK’s product portfolio and corporate messaging is in-line with our partners in support of our clients' vision and growth.

    Chris has been employed with PEAK since 2013. Prior to that time, he was employed at IBM, as a business unit executive in the Power Systems brand.  He was employed at IBM from 2004 to April 2013 in New York, San Francisco, and Denver.

    Chris attended Mercy College where he achieved a BA in Management and played on the Varsity Basketball Team for 4 years.  Additionally, he holds MBA’s in Finance and Information Systems from Pace University.  He is actively engaged and represents PEAK Resources as a member of the IBM Power Systems Advisory Council. 

    He enjoys snowboarding, golf, and a variety of outdoor activities including watching his 2 boys play travel baseball.
